CONSIDERING RETIREMENT
In 2017 he revealed he had though about retiring from the sport. He made his international debut for Sweden in 2005, and was the youngest athlete from any nation to compete at the 2006 Paralympic Winter Games in Turin. "It's not easy to stay motivated every day for so many years. I have come to a point where I feel I want to try to be more involved in social life. That's something I've chosen to neglect in all these years because the hockey has gone first. Now, honestly, I do not know what comes first. Hockey has meant a lot to me. It has also characterised my life ever since I started at the age of seven. Even though I might not go on, it will always be a big part of me and who I've been. If I continue, I will continue. I take it one year at a time." (skurupsposten.se, 26 Oct 2017)
