She began wheelchair racing in 2006 at the Team St. Luke's club in Spokane, WA, United States of America.
Why this sport?
"I wanted to try new things, I never saw anything like it before. The first time I did it, it was definitely harder than I expected and I think I actually beat someone. It felt like the coolest thing ever, and it still is to me."
