He took up the sport in 2007.
Why this sport?
In 2007 he was invited to a Lower Austrian Disabled Sports Association [NOVSV] youth sports day in Sankt Polten, Austria. "This day changed my life and mental state like no other. I got to know children and adolescents with much worse amputations, who were even worse off from the disability than I was. I also met world champions and Paralympic winners, who despite amputation travelled all over the world and did professional sports."
