MARVEL WHEELCHAIRS AND ICON WHEELCHAIRS
He is co-founder of Toronto-based wheelchair manufacturers, Marvel Wheelchairs, with Christian Bagg. But in 2010, Cervélo, a Canadian bicycle manufacturer that helped launch Marvel Wheelchairs, took over the business so the pair started another line called Icon Wheelchairs. SUSPENSION
In 2006, he was suspended for two years from international competition for testing positive for cocaine. In May 2008, the Court of Arbitration for Sport overturned the suspension, and Adams was able to compete for a spot at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing. (cbc.ca, 20 May 2008)
