When and where did you begin this sport?
He has been involved in sport throughout his life, and skied for many years before his accident in 1985. He says he took up para-skiing as soon as he realised he was able to after the accident.

Other sports
He also represented France in alpine skiing at the Paralympic Winter Games. At the 1992, 1994 and 1998 Games he competed in various alpine disciplines, with his best result a bronze in the giant slalom [LWX12] at the 1994 Paralympic Winter Games in Lillehammer. (VANOC, 12 Feb 2010)
