Awards and honours
She was Jamaica's flag bearer at the closing ceremony of the 2015 Parapan American Games in Toronto, ON, Canada. (paralympic.org, 15 Aug 2015)

In 2014 she received an Order of Distinction from the Jamaican government for outstanding contribution to sports. Several days later she was also gifted a motorised wheelchair from the Ministry of Local Government and Community Development and the Kingston and St. Andrew Corporation [KSAC], to replace the manual device that she had used for the last 10 years.
