Pools for wheelchair basketball Africa qualifiers decided

The groups for the International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) Africa World Championships Qualifiers 2017 have been drawn, with the event running from 18-24 November in Durban, South Africa.

In the men’s competition, the hosts will face Morocco, Angola and Zimbabwe in Group A, while defending champions Algeria will take on Egypt, Nigeria and Ghana in Group B. The four women’s teams are South Africa, Algeria, Zimbabwe and Nigeria, who will face-off in a round robin-format.

Both the men’s and women’s champions will secure a spot at the 2018 World Championships in Hamburg, Germany, from 17-26 August.
