AS AN ATHLETE

Becoming an athlete practising Para powerlifting is a great way to increase confidence, develop strength and maintain fitness, lessen injury and improve bone health, make friends and have fun!

AS A COACH

Becoming a coach is a great way to stay involved in and give back to Para powerlifting, to be a positive influence in others’ lives, or to develop yourself personally and professionally.

AS A TECHNICAL OFFICIAL

Becoming a certified technical official is a fantastic opportunity to stay involved in and give back to Para powerlifting, to gain a new perspective and understanding of the sport, or to meet new people and become part of the officiating team.

AS A CLASSIFIER

Becoming a classifier is a great way to develop yourself personally and professionally, to meet new people and become part of the classification team, or to learn a new sport and give back to Paralympic Movement.

AS A VOLUNTEER

Being a volunteer is a fantastic opportunity to experience the excitement of Para powerlifting and a competition, to develop yourself personally and professionally, or to meet new people and give back to the community. Volunteers are integral part of Para powerlifting competitions.

AS A RESEARCHER

World Para Powerlifting is committed to furthering research in a variety of areas related to the sport, and provides the opportunity for researchers and institutions to conduct studies at competitions, courses and other activities.

World Para Powerlifting works collaboratively with the researchers in facilitating and encouraging interest in these studies.
