Shelter Projects is a series of case-study compilations which illustrate some of the project options available to agencies and institutions working in humanitarian shelter. Through annual (2008, 2009, 2010) or biannual (2011-2012, 2013-2014, 2015-2016) publications, Shelter Projects aims to improve the capacity of humanitarian actors to meet the sheltering needs of disaster and conflict affected populations, by disseminating shelter responses and learning from the experiences. This Working Group was activated in 2016 to work on developing the "Shelter Projects 2015-2016" publication. It has been subsequently engaged in actively promoting and disseminating the publication, both to shelter practitioners and to a wider audience, including through launch events, workshops and translations. In 2018 and 2019, these dissemination activities were coupled with the efforts to develop the next edition, "Shelter Projects 2017-2018".
The participating agencies include IFRC, UNHCR, UN Habitat, IOM, Habitat for Humanity, InterAction, USAID-OFDA, CARE International UK, CRS, DRC, NRC and World Vision International.
