Shelter + Environment technical working group

This checklist (with annexes) is designed to guide the shelter coordination team, program managers and field staff through the steps required to ensure that environmental considerations are adequately integrated in humanitarian shelter programs. Following the steps of the humanitarian program cycle and aligned with the 2018 Sphere Humanitarian Standards, it is designed for situations where the population has not been displaced by the hazard event (sections 1-5), as well as displacement and resettlement scenarios (sections 1-6). This version of the checklist is ready for piloting.
