Cities across Canada are embracing refugees and becoming more connected because refugees are here, becoming colleagues, neighbours, and friends. At a time when conflict and persecution is uprooting millions of people worldwide, Canadian cities need to continue their support for refugees. UNHCR’s #WithRefugees campaign invites cities and local authorities who are working to promote inclusion, support refugees and bring communities together to sign a statement of solidarity #WithRefugees.
