How does UNHCR use unearmarked funds?
UNHCR relies on the voluntary contributions of government donors, which make up 90 per cent of UNHCR's overall income. Un-earmarked funding is highly flexible funds, donated by governments, that gives UNHCR the choice of where to allocate the funding.
