The purpose of the evaluation is two-fold: To contribute evidence to inform UNHCR's global strategy development and implementation in the selected country operations (Djibouti, Malaysia, Mauritania, Senegal and South Sudan); and to provide recommendations that will lead to enhanced economic inclusion of persons of concern (PoC) globally, by assisting the organisation to develop further guidance on the approach to livelihoods, self-reliance, and economic inclusion for refugees. -

ES/2019/01 - Evaluation of Effectiveness and Relevance of Advocacy Approaches with the EU and in EU/EFTA countries (2015-2017)
May 2019 This decentralized evaluation looks at effectiveness and relevance of advocacy approaches of UNHCR with the EU and in EU/EFTA countries (2015-2017), using three thematic advocacy case studies of: public opinion, resettlement/ complementary pathways and unaccompanied and separated children, in six countries. The evaluation reflects on and analyses what has worked well and what has worked less well for UNHCR's advocacy during the period and is expected to inform the development and implementation of future advocacy strategies and approaches of UNHCR in the region, or more broadly in UNHCR. -
