Since 2009, the Swedish Postcode Lottery, through its partnership with UNHCR, has helped change the lives of refugees across the world.

It has provided homes to 800 internally displaced families in Iraq. It has made sure 40,000 children in 12 countries could go to school through the Educate a Child programme. It has helped make five refugee camps in Tanzania and Uganda more environmentally sustainable. And it has ensured 5,000 Syrian refugee children in Lebanon could enrol in school.

Thousands more refugees have benefitted from the Swedish Postcode Lottery’s contribution of over US$13 million in unearmarked regular donations, including US$2.6 million in 2018 alone, which UNHCR is able to use where it’s most needed.
