Use the Borehole bulk upload to enter new borehole records and modify existing ones.
We recommend downloading the Borehole Excel template to enter your data. Using this document ensures your data complies with the dataset constraints. Expert users can directly edit the country CVS export.
Note that the bulk upload function CAN'T BE USED to delete borehole records. Boreholes not appearing in the bulk upload file will remain untouched in the database.
Please be aware that this tool can make substantial changes in the database, use it carefully.
If you just want to add boreholes, you can start filling the columns.
If you want to upload an existing borehole and your country already has records in the database, you may export the corresponding CSV file through the "Download borehole data" tab . Then, copy-paste the boreholes you need to update to the "Boreholes" tab of the template file.
When copy-pasting, make sure the columns match to avoid validation errors.

This map was developed for the WASH section of the UNHCR by CartONG.
It displays the boreholes assessed by the WASH focal points in the different sites. The data is stored as a layer in the UNHCR Database and can be displayed and edited through an online form using the REST services of ArcGIS Server.

Clustering aggregates all the boreholes located in the same area into a single point to avoid displaying too many points on the map. You can disable this function at any given time, but especially when zooming on a site to make sure that all boreholes are displayed as single points.

The 200m buffer circles are visible for all active boreholes- however you need to zoom sufficiently to be able to see them.
Countries or regions containing big datasets are filtered by default since loading them will slow down the app. You can undo the default filter from the Search tab, under Quickfilters section, and reactivate it again when needed.
