The first Global Refugee Forum will take place on 17 and 18 December 2019 at the Palais des Nations in Geneva.

The aim of the Forum

The Forum is expected to involve some 300 delegations of States and other relevant stakeholders and will aim to achieve: 

• Impactful joint and individual pledges and contributions towards the objectives of the Global Compact on Refugee (GCR)
• The sharing of good practices to inspire future contributions
• The engagement of new partners and stakeholders in refugee responses

States and other stakeholders are encouraged to share their pledges and contributions and good practices in advance or at the Forum.
