Description
As of October 2016, the sector has served 3.1 million people in need of essential basic household items. Of which, around 1.5 million people were adequately served for being able to receive more than four items. This accounts for 29% of the total 5.3 million people in need of NFIs in Syria in 2016. A total of 154 sub-districts were reached out of the total 272 sub-districts entire Syria. The sector has prepositioned around 3.7 million standard and supplementary NFI stocks to remain prepared for any eventuality.
