Registration of restaurants to distribute meals to the homeless
With the shops and restaurants in the city closed due to the threat of Covid-19, the difficulty of access to food for the homeless population worsened. In this context, the Municipality of São Paulo, through the Municipal Secretariat for Human Rights and Citizenship, organized an intersecretary action to supply the scarcity of food supply to this part of the population in the most vulnerable condition, and at the other end, to enable small restaurants to withstand the financial crisis, circulating the city’s economy in this quarantine period.
In the “Citizen Kitchen Network Project”, establishments registered and located in the city of São Paulo will be able to accredit themselves to provide meals for the homeless, with delivery to fixed points indicated by the folder.
