On Wednesday, UNHCR provides phone counselling for refugees from 10:00 -13:00, 14:00-17:00 (lunch break from 13:00-14:00), +38 (044) 288 94 24, +38 (044) 288 96 86 (landline).

The following topics can be covered by telephone counselling:

  • information about UNHCR’s assistance programmes
  • suggestions and complaints
  • information about assistance programmes of UNHCR’s partner organisations

In case of emergencies, refugees can contact UNHCR on any working day.

Requests for appointments with UNHCR or specific requests addressed to UNHCR should be submitted in writing to UNHCR’s office mailbox: 16, Lavrska St., Kyiv, 01015; or to: [email protected] or [email protected]

Outside UNHCR’s opening hours, you are requested to contact UNHCR partner organisations directly. Exceptions are made for emergency situations, where security-related or life-threatening concerns are substantiated.

Please indicate the return postal or e-mail address in your correspondence, to which a response will normally be sent within two months. If you do not have a regular postal address, please indicate a UNHCR NGO partner office to which the response should be sent for your collection and a telephone number. Please note that not all inquiries will receive a reply.
