Safe Refugees

This is a list of service providers for asylum seekers and refugees staying in Greece, produced by Medecins Du Monde. The organizations listed in this guide offer free assistance. Services include medical care, social counselling, psychological support, care and hygiene services, legal aid, meals, shelter, material aid, education, services for people living with ΗΙV/AIDS, as well as services for people discriminated against due to their gender identity/expression and/or sexual preference.

The guide also includes independent authorities where you can seek assistance in case your rights are being violated by public services, private entities, natural or legal persons.

Videos for unaccompanied children

With the support of the US Embassy in Greece, Faros has created the following animation videos. The aim of the videos is to provide unaccompanied children and adolescents with child-friendly information about risks and to improve knowledge in order to enable healthy decision-making. The video addresses protection issues related to abuse, sexual exploitation, and trafficking and can be used also to facilitate group discussion in shelters, community centers etc.
