Rights and obligations of SDP applicants

SDP applicants (undocumented persons under the stateless status determination procedure) do not have access to the available state services such as healthcare, education, social assis­tance, or free legal aid.

  • PSDA will provide the  SDP applicants with interpretation free of charge;
  •  SDP applicant  staying in Georgia illegally has the right not to be removed from the country during the procedure;
  • PSDA will issue a temporary identity card to a SDP applicant for the period of one year;
  • SDP applicants are eligible to withdraw their application at any stage of the stateless status determination proceeding.
