This Friday is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. No one should have to spend their golden years in fear and shame. Every day we’re working within communities to identify, prevent and end elder abuse. No one deserves abuse.

A huge thank you to the Victorian Government for injecting $200,000 of much-needed funding into our Health Justice Partnerships. This money will go towards preventing elder abuse and helping build fairer, safer and healthier communities.

2,000 people evicted from public housing - an almost certain sentence of homelessness - is 2,000 too many.
