Publications

Publications are an important way for UNHCR to spread awareness about refugees and other people of concern. They also allow us to report on operations, both globally and locally. We publish a wide range of materials for diverse audiences, ranging from basic documents such as the 1951 Refugee Convention to research and evaluation papers. Our worldwide operations are covered in the two flagship annual publications – the Global Appeal and Global Report

The Global Report

The Global Report is published every June and offers a comprehensive view of UNHCR's challenges and achievements worldwide

The Global Trends report

The Global Trends Report is published every year to analyze the changes in UNHCR's populations of concern and deepen public understanding of ongoing crises.

The Global Appeal

The Global Appeal is an invaluable guide for general readers to UNHCR's worldwide operations

The 2019 Education Report

The 2019 education report tells the stories of some of the world's 7.1 million refugee children of school age under UNHCR's mandate.
