March 18,2015 UNHCR provided training on “Resettlement program” from Khun Tuangkwan Meeleesawat, Senior Resettlement Assistant and presented certificates and awards for the outstanding performance fundraisers for their dedication in rebuilding refugee lives.

On 29 November 2014, Ms.Lees Gracia - Miss Grand International 2014 together with Mr.Worrawut Panyanon, the Representative from Bangkok Metropolitan Administration presented at UNHCR Thailand fundraising event at Vachirabenjatas Park,Chatuchak, Bangkok to raise awareness and support for refugees. “Refugees means everyone who suffers from wars. Your support can rebuild lives of more than 120,000 refugees who was forced to flee and live in the refugee camps,” said Lees Gracia.

In the past three months (Mar-June 12), UNHCR has happily organized refugee games and drawing T-Shirt booths to most enjoyable and comfortable lifestyle shopping malls, Siam Paragon, The Nine Rama 9 and Major Avenue Ratchayothin. These events provided us opportunities to increase help to refugees and let them know that outside the closed camps, there are a lot of Thais who care about them.
