The 3rd Refugee Film Festival Opening Night

UNHCR and partners commit to raise voice for refugees.

 

250 guests from Thai government, embassies, NGOs, international organizations, UN agencies, corporate sector, media and UNHCR donors gathered at the opening night of the 3rd Refugee Film Festival on 13 June at Paragon Cineplex. After the reception, the participants went to see “Pushing the Elephant”, the extraordinary story of a mother and daughter reunited after a decade separated bycivil war. The powerful documentary touches all the hearts at the theatre.

Strong partnerships between UNHCR and Royal Thai Government, Ministry of Defence,  the Embassy of the United States of America, and Siam Paragon.
