Introducing UNHCR’s New Regional Representative

15 March 2010, Bangkok : Introducing UNHCR’s New Regional Representative Jean-Noël Wetterwald has just taken up the duties of UNHCR Regional Representative in Thailand and Regional Co-ordinator for South East Asia in February, 2010.
Throughout 31 years working with UNHCR, he has become familiar with Asian culture and environment, having worked in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Cambodia and Vietnam. He hopes to use his experience in Asia and build on the expertise of our great team in Thailand and South East Asia to protect and find lasting solutions for as many refugees as possible.
