How to apply
All expert posts that require specialized qualifications and skills are advertised internally and externally. Candidates interested in applying for vacancies externally advertised should submit their application together with a completed P-11 – Personal History form to the e-mail address(es) indicated in the vacancy call.
UNHCR aims at the diversity of its workforce and women are encouraged to apply.
Under UNHCR’s human resources policy, for specific vacancies internal candidates are given first priority. When there are no suitable candidates, the post is advertised externally.
Submitted applications are short-listed and short-listed candidates are interviewed by a panel. Data and references provided in the P-11 form are also checked. After the final selection, applications are referred to an appointments board for review and they have to be finally approved by the representative of the High Commissioner. Before entry, medical clearance is also necessary.
Please note that the selection procedure may differ for different positions. The applicable procedure is always indicated in the respective vacancy call.
All open positions at UNHCR Regional Representation for Central Europe are advertised on this page.
Please note that UNHCR does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process.
