"My daughter told me that today was the best day ever. Her dad asked "Why?" and she said that it's because we feel warm today. It made me cry knowing she felt that way."

Life for Um and Abu Waleed changed when war broke out in Syria. It forced them to flee with little more than the clothes on their backs.

Thanks to the support of kind donors, they were able to protect their familiy from the from the freezing cold and create "the best day ever" for their children.

However, there are still many other families that are left without the shelter and warm clothes they need to survive the winter. 

You can help us reach those who need us the most:

•            £150 could provide two families with a winter survival kit (blanket, sleeping mat, warm clothes, and a stove) 

•            £75 could cover an emergency winter payment (to help buy fuel, medicine, winter clothing) 

•            £30 could buy fleece blankets for a family of five
