Women's association gives returnees strength and new skills
In a society where women face discrimination, in a war where sexual violence has been widespread, Femme Debout, a group of war widows and orphans, is taking a stand: enrolling both Christians and Muslims, teaching new skills to make them their families' breadwinners, giving hope to displaced individuals and coming together in an act of collective healing. Conflict had forced them from their homes and now they are back to rebuild their lives.
