Reports from Germany say police shot dead an Iraqi man after he used a knife to attack a policewoman in Berlin.
Authorities say the policewoman was wounded by the attack on September 17.
Prosecutors described the attacker as a 41-year-old Iraqi who was a "suspected Islamist."
The man had previously been sentenced to a jail term for planning an attack.
