North Caucasus journalist, Timur Kushaev was found dead today. According to DOSH magazine his body was found by officers from the ministry for Emergency Situations of Kabrdino Balkaria in a forest close to a road in the Hasanya district near Nalchik. There were no obvious signs of violence, beatings or wounds on his body.

"We think that Timur was taken away in the evening from home as he was found in clothes he only wears at home. He also left his mobile phone at home, something he would rarely do" said DOSH magazine on their Facebook page.

The cause of death should be revealed after a forensic investigation.
