The Government
Article I
agrees(1)with the extension of temporary refuge on the territory of the Czech Republic until 30 June 1994 to citizens of former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia who were granted temporary refuge on the territory of the Czech Republic before 1 June 1994, and to citizens of the Republic of Bosnia and Hercegovina who will be granted temporary refuge.These persons will be provided with the same accommodation and medical care as to applicants for refugee status,
(2)with the limitation to the kind of authorized persons to whom it is possible to grant temporary refuge on the territory of the Czech Republic after 1 January 1994, to citizens of the Republic of Bosnia and Hercegovina;
Article II
instructs(1)the Vice Premier and Minister of Finance to ensure that citizens of former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia who were granted temporary refuge in the Czech Republic until 31 December 1993 are forgiven administrative fees associated with submission of request for extension of work permits according to Law No. 368/1992 Sb., concerning administrative fees collected by administrative organs of the Czech Republic, as amended in later regulations,
(2)the Minister of Interior to ensure the provision of humanitarian assistance to citizens of former Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia who were granted temporary refuge in the Czech Republic in humanitarian centers of the Ministry of Interior,
(3)the Minister of Interior in cooperation with the Ministers of Employment and Social Welfare; Education, Youth and Physical Education; Health; the Vice Minister; and the Minister of Finance to prepare for the Government by 30 April 1994 a proposal for further steps for the ensurance of status and residence of persons from former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia who were granted temporary refuge by the Government on the territory of the Czech Republic.
