European Migration Network (EMN)

The European Migration Network (EMN) was established by Council Decision 2008/381/EC of 14 May 2008, and its objective is to meet the information needs of Community institutions and of Member States’ authorities and institutions on migration and asylum, by providing up-to-date, objective, reliable and comparable information on migration and asylum, with a view to supporting policymaking in the European Union in these areas. The European Commission co-ordinates the EMN, in co-operation with National Contact Points (EMN NCPs) appointed in each Member State. Website: ec.europa.eu/dgs/home-affairs/what-we-do/networks/european_migration_network/
