Fiji: Please provide an assessment on the situation of homosexuals in Fiji dealing with public acceptance, legal framework, military treatment of and state protection for homosexuals. Please also obtain an assessment from an expert on: whether the situation of homosexuals in Fiji has changed since the introduction of the Public Emergency Regulations (PER) and the abrogation of the Constitution in April 2009? Is there any information to suggest that false charges filed against political activists of one party by another party prior to the emergency rule are likely to have survived the political changes in Bangladesh over the last two years? 7. Is there any information to suggest that cases filed against a BNP activist filed prior to 2001 are likely to be pursued by the newly elected AL government or any of its organs?

Nepal: What is the potential, in light of the post-31 January 2005 crackdown on human rights demonstrations and reporting, for the forces of the king to view members of foreign-based evangelical churches with suspicion along lines of IMPUTED POLITICAL OPINION? The question is about the king (in addition to the Maoists) viewing membership of foreign-based churches as a politically-sensitive issue rather than simply one of religion or conscience.
