Burden / standard of proof / Country of origin information (COI)

Séance du 16 janvier 2008; Lecture du 13 février 2008. This decision removes Niger and Albania from the list of safe countries of origin adopted in May 2006. Unlike in its decision of 5 April 2006, the Conseil d'Etat now considers that these countries do not meet the criteria set out in Article L741-4 (2) of the Law on Asylum of France (respect for democracy, human rights and rule of law).
