Myanmar: 1. Pakistan: 1. What is the current situation with respect to those participating in anti-Musharraf and pro-democracy demonstrations? 2. Is there any information to suggest different treatment of pro-democracy activists by the Pakistani police and the army? 3. Is there retrospective legislation allowing anti-government activities to be dealt with by military tribunals by military personnel and not the civil courts? Is it operating? 4. If there were outstanding charges against someone at the time of their departure from Pakistan, would these have been likely to be detected by the authorities at the airport and would any action be taken against them at that point?
