To deal with the issues arising in case of possible influx to the Republic of Armenia of displaced persons due to the events in Iraq the Government of the Republic of Armenia decides:
1. With purpose of providing the persons displaced from Iraq with temporary dwelling to suggest the "Armenia's Health Resort" foundation:
a) provide "Arevik" (Sevan) and "Lori" (Vanadzor) health resorts;
b) present to the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Armenia the sum necessary for food and living conditions to the persons displaced from Iraq (per 1 person daily).
2. The director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, the head of the Police of the Republic of Armenia, the head of the Department of Migration and Refugees under the RA Government jointly:
a) organize the secure process of crossing the border for persons arriving from Iraq, for this purpose discuss the possibility of providing the filtration centers in the crossing points with necessary facilities, in case of necessity presenting relevant proposals to the Government of the Republic of Armenia ;
b) in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Armenia organize the transportation of the persons displaced from Iraq to the temporary dwellings mentioned in the provision 1 of the given decision.
3. The head of the Department of Migration and Refugees under the Government of the Republic of Armenia: deal with the issues of granting the persons displaced from Iraq temporary asylum in accordance with the procedure established by the Legislation of the Republic of Armenia, in case of necessity presenting relevant proposals to the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
4. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia:
a) negotiate with the international organizations and foreign states, international and foreign non-governmental organizations on donating financial means or medicines, night and other necessary facilities with the purpose of providing assistance to the persons arriving in Armenia from Iraq;
b) negotiate with the regional states and the relevant international organizations on organizing the transportation of the persons arriving in Armenia from Iraq;
c) in case of necessity present the relevant proposal to the Prime-Minister of the Republic of Armenia on creating temporary interdepartmental commission.
5. The Minister of State Property Governance of the Republic of Armenia, local authorities of the Republic of Armenia and the mayor of Yerevan within the period of 10 days:
a) present suggestions to the Department of Migration and Refugees under the Government of the Republic of Armenia on providing the persons displaced form Iraq with suitable houses and buildings in case of large influxes;
b) present the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Armenia the sums necessary for funding of creation the living facilities (electrification, water supplies, furnishing) in the houses and buildings mentioned in point "a" of the given provision, as well as for organization of the nutrition issues.
6. The Minister of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Armenia: proceeding from the sums mentioned in the provision 1 and point "b", provision 5 of the given decision, as well as the documentation providing basis for the expenditure presented by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Armenia on the transportation mentioned in the point "b", provision 2, present a proposal to the Government of the Republic of Armenia on donating foundation on account of the Reserve Fund in accordance with the state budget of the Republic of Armenia.
7. The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia: in case of necessity provide medical service for the persons arriving from Iraq.
