The economic inclusion exchange aims at discussions issues related to the livelihoods of refugee, returnees, other persons in displacement and of course their host communities.
The “exchange” aims at being an open platform for discussion of partners advocating, researching, investing and realizing projects that strengthen self-reliance and resilience,
reduce the need of assistance, contribute to economies, increase protection and prepare for future solutions.
Economic Inclusion means enabling refugees to provide for themselves and be net contributors to economic development as consumers, workers and entrepreneurs. It is one of the most important keys to enhancing protection and unlocking solutions for refugees” (Filippo Grandi, United Nations Hugh Commissioner for Refugees)
