Afghan Boxing Girl finds new life in Spain
Sadaf began boxing when she was just 11 years old. Determined to challenge the conservative traditions of her country Afghanistan, she went on to form the first women's boxing team, wining medals for her country. But as her fame grew, she began to receive threats. When a Spanish filmmaker decided to make a documentary about her life, Sadaf had the chance to travel to Spain, where she sought and was granted asylum. Now she's building a new life for herself, studying, working and whenever she can, she gets back in the boxing ring.
