CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST issued by UNHCR Ukraine

UNHCR Ukraine invites all interested organizations to submit their proposals for the Project “Protection of internally displaced persons and other affected populations in Ukraine” to be implemented during the period of January-December 2020.

Geographical coverage for the Project:

Zone 1: 0-20 km area along the line of contact, Government Controlled Area (GCA)
Zone 2: Non-Government Controlled Area (NGCA), including 0-20 km area along the line of contact in NGCA
Zone 3-E: Eastern oblasts of Ukraine (GCA)
Zone 3-CWS: Central, Western and Southern oblasts of Ukraine

Main activities envisioned within the Project:

Conduct advocacy on law and policy in cooperation with government and non-government actors;
Provide free legal assistance to internally displaced persons and other affected populations;
Provide capacity development support to Free Legal Aid Centres (FLAC) through trainings, seminars and/or other activities;
Conduct protection monitoring and analyzе the situation of IDPs and conflict-affected populations residing along the line of contact, as well as persons waiting at checkpoints;
Conduct information sessions on SGBV prevention;
Conduct light, medium and heavy repairs of the damaged houses to restore adequate residential conditions;
Provide psychological support and counselling to the most vulnerable internally displaced persons and other affected populations;
Provide emergency shelter and NFI kits to affected population;
Support community groups in building their capacities to address their protection risks.

Submission deadline is 31 July 2019. Mandatory documents to be submitted: concept note, project budget, suggested staffing list, Partner Declaration, Partner Biodata, NGO registration documents.
