    Libya, thanks to ⁦⁩ & EUMS, our transit center in Tripoli is almost ready. It can accommodate soon 1000 persons in good conditions. Resettlement from Libya & Niger now needs to work much faster

    36 unaccompanied children!!

    The has just rescued 158 people - including 9 children & 36 unaccompained minors - from an overcrowded rubber boat. Many are exhausted & dehydrated from their journey but all are now safe on board. We will continue patrolling.

    Tesfa is just 5 years-old. He was among 132 refugees that UNHCR evacuated from Libya to Niamey on the 10 May. Libya is no place for children. Durable solutions are needed.

    Sharing your concerns and trying to find out from the authorities who detained them where they might be. Thanks for the alert.

    Breaking: late last night unknown assailants attacked Guryan refugee detention in and kidnapped around 180 Eritrean , unknown number Somalian refugees and also prison guards. The rest of the refugees are hiding and worried, all are registered by UNHCR since July.
