Over the past years, populations in the region of the North of Central America have been facing high levels of violence, insecurity, organized crime and limited socio-economic opportunities, causing a significant number of people to flee their home, many of which are searching for international protection abroad. The following document outlines regional progress, challenges and next steps to ensure compliance with pillar 1 (Reception and admissions) of the CRRF.
