While Côte d’Ivoire ratified the Kampala Convention in December 2013, the country has not yet adopted any national framework to address internal displacement. The Réseau des Professionels des Médias and a group of Non-Governmental Organisations are currently actively lobbying the Government and more particularly, the Ministère de la Femme, de la Protection de l’Enfant et de la Solidarité, for the adoption of a national framework on internal displacement.
