We work in all 14 governorates of Syria, with staff based in UNHCR’s Country Office in Damascus and six sub-offices and field offices in the cities of Damascus, Aleppo, Qamishli, Tartous, Homs and Swaida.
To reach the affected population in all parts of Syria, UNHCR has established partnership agreements with 33 non-government organizations operating in different locations inside Syria. And we continue to support 96 community centers around Syria. We plan to reach 150 community centers by the end of 2018.
To date, UNHCR has expanded its network of outreach volunteers to about 2,190 volunteers to ensure the humanitarian access to the people in need.
