You can even support refugees through a sponsored run, marathon, swim or cycle – take on a challenge, and beat your personal best, whilst also having fun and raising money to help to build and transform the lives of refugees worldwide.

After you’ve decided on your event, you can set up a JustGiving page to collect your donations and share your story on why you have chosen to fundraise for UNHCR. We’ll give you advice and tips on how to prepare yourself for the race day, and ensure that you’re feeling confident and ready to go!

Were you lucky enough to receive a ballot place for the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon? Want to use your place to fundraise for refugees? Join Team UNHCR and run #WithRefugees all over the world. A unique race day experience, with thousands of people cheering along the sidelines, whilst you run past some of London’s most beautiful and iconic sites. We have a team dedicated to our community fundraisers, and will be here to join you on your journey in the lead up to the marathon. Whether it be tips and advice to reach your fundraising goals and get prepped for race day, or if it’s just to have a chat to help get rid of those nerves, we’re here to support you all the way. We also have UNHCR technical running t-shirts that we can send you for your training and for the big day!
