Ethiopia: Visionary investment changes lives
A five-year partnership between UNHCR and IKEA is helping to transform the lives of refugees and locals, devastated by successive droughts, in Ethiopia's remote Somali region. Once unproductive land is now producing 13 different crops in two harvests a year, school enrolment rates are rising, there is a new livestock market and economic activity has picked up more broadly.
