UNHCR Representation in the Republic of Tajikistan handed over technical equipment to the Department of Citizenship and Work on Refugees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of TajikistanUNHCR Representation in the Republic of Tajikistan handed over technical equipment to the Department of Citizenship and Work on Refugees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Dushanbe, Tajikistan – On July 28 2016 UNHCR officially handed over technical IT equipment to the Department of Citizenship and Work on Refugees (DCWR) under the Passport Registration Service (PRS) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As part of its ongoing close engagement with the DCWR, UNHCR hopes that the equipment: a computer, projector and printer, designated for Conference Room will facilitate important activities and events for both asylum and statelessness issues.
The Head of Department of Citizenship and Work on Refugees (DCWR) under the Passport Registration Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mr. Nurali Safarov expressed his appreciation for UNHCR’s technical support: - “With UNHCR assistance, DCWR Office shall be able to carry out planned activities in close collaboration with UNHCR”.
