Vacancy of a driver, GS2 TA

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Regional Office in Almaty is seeking for candidates for the position of a driver, GS2 level, with a Temporary Appointment till 31 December 2018. This is a temporary appointment to fill the gap and there is no expectation of extension of this assignment after 31 December 2018.

The minimum qualifications required:

• Secondary education;
• Clean driving record (without involvement of major/deadly accident, any liability and any crime);
• Valid driving licence;
• Two years of professional experience relevant to the function;
• Knowledge of driving rules and regulations;
• Skills in minor vehicle repairs;
• Good knowledge of Russian and/or Kazakh languages and working knowledge of English language.

UNHCR has the right to administer a written test in Russian and/or Kazakh, as well as a driving test for the shortlisted candidates.
