Elizabeth, a South Sudanese refugee living in Dadaab refugee camp, in north-eastern Kenya, recalls living a simple life as the last born in her family of 5, before the war forced them out of their country. She narrates her story to UNHCR’s Mohamed Aden Maalim.

Congolese tailor with disability stitches new life in Kenya

Hota Biclere is a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). She has a spinal deformity which has resulted in a curved back. Despite being a refugee with a physical disability, Biclere has established a successful tailoring business where she is employing other refugees.
