United Nations and World Bank leaders are in Bangladesh
UN Secretary-General António Guterres and World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim, joined by the heads of the UN Refugee Agency and UNFPA, are in Bangladesh on a two-day visit to focus on the needs of nearly one million Rohingya refugees in the country, and mobilize support for government host communities and aid agencies helping them. The visit comes as humanitarian workers race to move Rohingya families who are at risk from landslides in the monsoon season to safer shelter.
